Our Wedding | Bridesmaid's Gifts

Thursday, August 15, 2013

I am so excited to share with you today a great Etsy shop/shop owner that I worked with to purchase my bridesmaid's gifts from.  My ladies did so much for me; they flew/drove in from all parts of the country (Hawaii, Texas, Pennsylvania, & Virginia were all represented), threw me an amazing bachelorette party, and stood by my side all weekend as we prepared to say, "I do."  With that, I searched high and low to find something special and unique to serve as a thank you for all their hard work.

After looking around, I finally found Jodie's shop and fell in love with her hand stamped personalized monogrammed bracelets.  I had already gotten my two sisters the Kate Spade bridesmaid idiom bangle and knew I wanted a dainty bracelet for my other girls as well.  She and I exchanged a lot of emails throughout the process and she was absolutely lovely to work with.  Jodie arranged my custom order and had it shipped within a couple days of me placing it.

However, Jodie is based in Scotland and I live in the United States.  A word of advice to those Etsy purchasers who don't read the fine print: be aware where the shop owner is selling from!  :)  Although it took a couple weeks, all worked out just fine and I got my pretty little pieces safely and beautifully boxed ready to give to my girls.

These bracelets were so simple and delicate that I knew I had to have them.  The pretty packaging and sweet demeanor of Jodie also assured me that these would be the perfect purchase.  My bridesmaids also got framed pictures of memories from the bachelorette party, as well as a bottle of wine :)  I hope they got as much enjoyment out of them as I did picking them out!  Thanks again, girls for being so amazing to me throughout the process!!

Have a happy day, friends!
