decor tour (part 1)

With a Pandora Christmas station blaring through our Bose, Nick and I took to decorating our home for Christmas for the first time. There was only one casualty (rip Minnie Mouse ornament), so I'd consider it a success. It was hard to fully immerse ourselves in the spirit of the season since I begged and pleaded that we decorate before Thanksgiving (we were traveling up to PA so Nick gave in), but now that Christmastime is officially upon us, I'm ready to continue decking the halls, tie up pretty packages, and stuff stockings!! This really is the happiest time of the year and we have so much to celebrate and be grateful for :)
Here's part one of a decor tour of our happy little home. Part two (with the tree, outdoor decor, etc.) will come soon!
Cranberry candle holder found at Target
DIY cranberry letter here
Vine wreath found here
Lots of kisses to come under our mistletoe kissing ball :)
Gifted from friends (and absolutely love it!)
Adapted from my parents' house:
Our advent wreath
Gifted from my grandma - isn't it too cute!?
I see garland on our mantle and on our stair rails, as well as some lights on our house coming soon... I'm like a kid in a candy store here bubbling over with so much excitement and can't wait until the final look is complete :)
What about your home? Any blog posts that I could check out to see how you decorated? Do share in the comments!!
