first and foremost, happy week of Thanksgiving to you and yours!

can we just take a minute to pause and figure out where this year has gone?  I mean, is it just me, or was 2012 being rung in yesterday?  I cannot believe that we're already planning what to do to ring in 2013! 

Regardless, I am grateful that this year has been very good to me thus far, and in the spirit of this particular week, I will probably take a mini-hiatus later in the week/weekend to celebrate the holidays with family, but have a couple of posts already scheduled and will be back in action next week!
