Our Wedding | The Details

Tuesday, August 13, 2013

Nick and I met in 2008 at Penn State.  He was dating his high school sweetheart, and I was on-again-off-again with a guy I had been seeing.  We were hardly acquaintances at the time, and never anticipated we would be married 5 years later...  Whatever it took, I've never been happier that we ended up together.  I can't wait to recap our wedding day for you - it was such a special day.  To begin, Here are some of the details that came together beautifully to polish off our big day.  All photos are courtesy of Blythe K Photography.

Left: my "something blue" | Right: bridesmaid bouquet, perfume, "something borrowed" mom's pearls

Left: the dress | Middle: "something borrowed" great grandmother's cross | Right: the invitation

Left: the shoes | Right: the bouquet

The Rings

Candy table upon arrival into the ballroom

Table arrangements

Left: placecards | Middle: the cake | Right: the menu

Pittsburgh area traditional wedding cookie table

These details would never have come together so beautifully without the help of both of our parents, as well as countless friends and family members who helped bake, set up, organize, store, purchase, lend, etc., all the goods that you see above :)

Up next: the last hours before we wed.

Everything looked so gorgeous! I love the elegant black and white theme at the reception. The lighting for the tables made it look like it was from a fairy tale. All the details really made for a wonderful day. Congrats! -Hildred @ Crystal Gardens
