Home Update: The Powder Room

Slowly, but surely, I am bound and determined to share the updates we've made on our happy little home.  However, for today, you're stuck with the tiniest update our house had had thus far - a powder room facelift.

Let me just paint a picture of the previous bathroom:  15 year old wall paper border (in a baby blueish color), cream paint with oatmeal speckles all over the place and no artwork left behind...
...Needless to say, if our guests were going to be excusing themselves to said restroom, it would need to be a quaint little place to spend a few minutes of their time.
Enter: a little TLC, a couple of parents willing to steam off your wallpaper & paint your bathroom & trim, and a couple trips to grab a little decor.

I'm still looking for a new light fixture to replace the brass one that currently lives on our wall, am looking into additional decor for over the toilet, and am kind of itching for a framed mirror, but we are taking things day by day!  Stay tuned for other make overs to come :)
