I Confess...

We have our downstairs almost all painted, but I didn't help one bit in the bedroom.  Nick so kindly painted it on Saturday while I was at a baby shower.  It's a good thing I didn't help, because I have a tendency of stepping in pans of paint:

Nick has also been on cooking duty a lot more lately.  I've been loving the grilled chicken, burgers, veggies, and fruit that we've he's been putting together for us and am appreciative he enjoys being grill master.  

That I got into an accident over a week ago and still haven't filed the claim with my insurance...  It wasn't my fault & everything is mostly okay, so I've just put it on the bottom of my to-do list.  

That we bought 7 bottles of wine in Mexico for $30... and that 3 of them are already down for the count.  

That Nick & I have gone on a new-food-locale-trying spree... We ventured to Richmond to try Koba Koba, a Cuban restaurant featured on the Food Network, and have tried other restaurants local to where we live.  We're both pretty predictable when it comes to our food preferences, but it's been fun/different trying out new things.  

That fresh flowers are a must.  But I can't seem to keep plants alive for more than 2-5 days, so purchasing from the grocers are my best bet as of now...  I also confess that this table & the bookshelf in the background are both from Ikea and I love them.  

And last, but not least, I confess our electric bill was TWICE as much as our most expensive bill has ever been.  My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I opened it up...  Guess we'll be living by candlelight and taking advantage of the fresh air in the coming weeks ;)
