Intruducing: Penny

Nick and I are pleased to announce that we have welcomed a 3rd member to our little family.  Last Sunday (as in, over a week ago), we drove to pick up our sweet little golden retriever, Penny.  My heart is so full I can't even put it into words.  She is everything we could have hoped for and more.

So far we have been fortunate enough to have her sleep through the night in her crate without accidents (and without waking mommy & daddy up!!)...

We discovered she's a little bit of a hoarder & gathers all her toys and puts them in the strangest place in our home (print below found here)...

She is such a little roly poly; she flops around and is still getting used to her growing body (and still thinks she is small enough to fit under our coffee table)...

She has been good in the car (so far) and loves to explore new things...

She loves mommy & daddy so much and showers us with kisses (when we let her)...

And although this following picture is outdated by a week (I swear she grows at least an inch daily!!), I couldn't help but share our first family photo :)

We're learning a lot about each other as everyday passes and are so grateful to have added her into our lives.  Seriously one of the most fulfilling things we've ever done :)

She is so fluffy!!! I love her! Aren't puppies the best? Especially when they are good like she seems to be!

You should look into enrolling her in the Golden Retriever Lifetime Study through the Morris Animal Foundation. We have our golden retriever enrolled and not only does it benefit the breed but you also get part of your vet bills paid for and they send you boxes of goodies from time to time.
