Gym Swhwimm

Thursday, August 02, 2012

It's 11:30ish in these parts, and I've managed to do just about everything but what I set out to do this morning...  After 2 (yes 2, ick!) delicious slices of buffalo chicken pizza last night (cringing as I recall this fact), I laid out my gym clothes and swore up and down that I'd be getting my butt over there first thing.  I have a lifestyle makeover to keep up with and a wedding to slim down for, so naturally 2 slices was a good limit (hah).

But then this happened:

I obviously thought to myself "I'll perform better at the gym if I have a cup of coffee first," then proceeded to fill my grande mug up at least twice...

...Since I had all that time to kill while drinking my coffee, naturally I took a second to notice & admire my 2 week old mani and thought about driving to WalMart to grab an at-home gel manicure kit of my own

...Then for some unbeknownst reason realized it was my grandma's birthday and had to call her and catch up.  This of course lead to wedding chit chat (and that little person reminding me to scoot to the gym + stop procrastinating)

...Which naturally lead me to slip my coffee a teeny weeny bit slower so I could get onto my blogger account to read-up on the latest + greatest (some of my favorites this am herehereherehere, & here

...Which then lead me to pinterest + the ecards (if you're a teacher you know this is so true!)

Which lead me to writing this post while watching the Jordyn Wieber + Ryan Seacrest interview and looking a little like this:

Awkwardly ready for the gym since about 8:45am and stillllllllllllll at home.  Whoops?
I blame it on my double-grande-coffee.
And my total inability to get anything accomplished before 12pm.

So with that, I'm off to the gym...  Seriously.  As a matter of fact // accountability, I will post an instagram photo (@crm5120) to prove I made it there.  Unless I happened to pass my car first and somehow find myself at Target.

And guess who just walked in the door...  Impeccable timing Nick.  This is why I love you so.

Looks like the gym will have to wait another hour or two ;)
((but really, be looking out for a picksy sometime today to be certain I got my butt there!))

psst, thanks to Samantha for sharing, and Kristen for hosting, I'll be linking up the journey here:

You are funny, good thing Target is in the other direction. My hardest thing is getting there, once there I can work out for hours, if motivated!! Good Luck!!!
