The Penny Tails

Wednesday, September 10, 2014

Hi Guys, Penny here.  I'm just taking over for my mama today while she rests or works or watches her Real Housewives show or something.  Life around these parts was going so great and then my parents had to go back to work.  Since then, they've been more tired than usual.  I'm a little bitter about it, but I'll stay to focusing on the good stuff they do for me.  They're okay humans, so I won't hold it agains them.

Did you notice my missing teeth up there in that picture of me?  I'm teething like crazy.  Mommy and daddy have been giving me extra chewy toys and treats and ice cubes so I'm cool with it.  I'll be happy when it's all over, but the attention and loving I get for it is awesome.

I also have been taking so many rides to so many cool places.  I've been to grandma's house a few times, my aunty Bilo's apartment near D.C., puppy class, and even this place my humans call Penn State.  They say I'm a Penn State pooch, whatever that means.  I just know that I got to climb on this big thing and got lots of treats and met a bunch of people who wanted to pet me constantly.  It was the bomb dot com.  Seriously, "bye byes in the car" are so much fun.

My parents say I've been growing up a lot, too.  I don't exactly know what that means, but I do know I can jump up onto the counter easier now.  When they leave yummy smelling food on the counter, I can't help myself.

I haven't exactly "graduated" puppy classes yet because we've had a lot of cancellations and delays due to the summer and holidays, but I've been told I've shown a lot of improvement.  I don't really care much about moving onto the next level, so long as my friends Max and Kagen come with me and mom & dad keep feeing me treats when I do well.

I guess you can say I'm pretty content pooch...  Only downside is my mom sometimes dresses me in these much-too-small outfits and snaps a million pictures of me.  I'm a Penn State girl through and through, but she should've sized up.  Oh well, I love her anyway.

Anyhow, my people are telling me it's time for dinner so I'm off to jump around in circles with excitement.  Bye for now!

She is too precious! I remember that teething stage. Adult teeth are SO much less sharp than puppy teeth! You will be glad! Also, we totally just bought Coop a Hokies jersey. Can't wait to put it on him!
