as promised, here are the ingredients/to-dos to enjoy your very own stirfryday [even if it isn't quite Friday yet]
Ingredients: 1-2 green peppers, chicken breast, 1/2 red onion, mushrooms, 1/2 serving Chinese noodles, 1 clove of garlic, 1 bottle House of Tsang stir-fry sauce, salt, pepper, e.v.o.o.
as you bring water to a boil for your noodles, begin by julienneing your peppers
next, chop up your onions and garlic
by now, your water should have begun to boil (if not, did you remember to dash it with either salt or e.v.o.o. and cover with a lid?), so drop half of the noodles to cook
as your noodles cook, drizzle some e.v.o.o. (extra virgin olive oil) into a large skillet
begin to cook your onions, pepper, and garlic. simutaneously, begin to cook your chicken on the stovetop. It should only take 4-5 minutes to cook, but be sure internal chicken temperature reaches at least 165
add mushrooms and 1 tbsp. sauce and continue to brown veggies
to avoid sticking together, run noodles under cold water as you continue to brown your veggies
when chicken is cooked, add noodles, 1/3 - 1/2 c. stirfry sauce, and cooked chicken. stir/fry (hee hee) until desired consistency/flavor (no more than 5 minutes necessary)
serve + enjoy.
special bonus points to you if your significant other goes back for seconds ;)
[future modifications/addendums in mind: water chestnuts, carrots, sesame seeds, snow peas]
how do you make your stirfry?!
let a sista know, b/c this was so easy + Nick loved it!!
[p.s., if you haven't already done so, be sure to link up your posts from the ornament swap - still getting through them and loving the ornaments you all gave/got!!]
